~ About Clunes NSW ~
Clunes ~ Gaelic for "pleasant place"

Clunes is a small town of approximately 556 people in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. Gorgeously positioned through a scenic drive up high between Bangalow and Lismore with close proximites to The Nightcap National Park ~ A dramatically beautiful park full of ancient rainforests and part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. A visit to the national park invites waterfalls and crystal clear creeks and views of the 20 million year-old Wollumbin shield volcano.

~ Travelling? ~
Clunes is conveniently located in close proximity to Ballina and Gold Coast Airports
Considering Byron Bay is only 25 minutes drive away ~ There is an abundance of accommodation
to suit a variety of budgets. From hotels, funky pubs, airbnbs and camping.
Here are some of my recommendations on where to stay.
