Join a worldwide community and draw a Mandala a day to help raise awareness for mental health.

A portrait of yourself over 7 days

What can you do?

~ Everyday draw one Mandala  ~

Take at-least 15minutes out of your day to sit, be mindful and express your mood through mandala making.

7 mandalas in total.

Those of you who have been to a mandala meditation workshop knows the drill ~

Whilst drawing, thoughts may pop up ~

The chatter in the mind

Please write these noises down on the back of your mandala.

~ Unique examples from students captured over the years ~

Traditionally, the mandala is used as a meditation tool to search for the meaning of self. This often requires a study of this diagram which we may call the "personality" - the part of ourselves which bares witness to our vast invisible potential.

Creating your own personal mandala is therapeutic, symbolic & a beautiful refelction of ones own soul.

Present emotions will be represented in your mandala through the use of organically formed shapes & colour. By allowing your instinct and feelings to inspire & guide you through the process of creation, a portrait of yourself will emerge.

When you reach your destination, you will have a representation of something meaningful and personal that you can take home with you -

a snapshot of you - a brief moment in time expressed through your unique personal mandala

Sand Mandala

My mandalas were cryptograms concerning the state of the self which was presented to me anew each day…I guarded them like precious pearls….It became increasingly plain to me that the mandala is the center. It is the exponent of all paths. It is the path to the center, to individuation. ”

This 24 petaled grid offers an incredible amount of ways to explore and express yourself through the mandala process.

Add more, take less, add lines

... your drawing is a container, a vessel for your soul.

Example of a mandala using the 24 petals shown above. using watercolour. This mandala took me around 45 minutes to complete.
